Resolution/Screen goes blank

It loads up the world the when it reaches the gui thing the screen resolution changes (Because u could hear it) then it goes blank HELP I WANA PLAY (Im a newbie) :P

Operating System: Windows XP Pro SP2
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2600+
Graphics Card: Radeon 9200 SE Family (Microsoft Corp.)
System Memory: 76.6 GB
Video Memory: 256 MB (i think)

Make sure you have the latest version of PS
Are you sure about 76.6 GB HD size? That\'s a very odd numer.
Please check what your memory is, and I don\'t mean you harddisk, but your RAM. Also, your graphics card is made by Ati, not by Microsoft. Microsoft makes your OS.
Also make sure you have the latest graphics driver, at http://www.ati.com.

I think he means the size of his usable partition/drive, or all of them together. The .4 MB to tack on to the end of that could probably be unallocated - though to tell you the truth, I\'m not all too sure how he could wind up with that much memory just sitting and doing nothing.

Well i wanted a 80 gb so i did get one but it was 76.6 GB.
