Great Game Great Problems

ok I recently dled Planeshift and i have got to say first off... that is amazing the only other mmorpg that comes close to the graphics would be darkfall and that isnt set to release untill 2003 and you gotta pay for that! after reveiwing all the skills traits and other atributes of the game i found one problem... the game runs but it runs at increadible lag speeds. I know i have a 56k modem but most gammers that will download this game will be running 56k modems the game needs to be more orented to the lower class connections... I by no means am saying that you should down grade the graphics or any other aspect of the game. i am saying it needs to be able to move much like even a game of the caliber like quake 3 its graphics are comparable and it runs fine... i dont know if it is a server thing or what... just another idea

eh its a new game that why they call it a demo and everyone is complaining about the lag if the lag wasnt there what would u do theres nothing in the game :) sofar of what ive seen

This \'lag\' youre experiencing istn\'t really your bad connection. It\'s just the incompleteness of the engine. On my PIII 667 it runs slow as hell, but on my AMD XP 1900+ it goes smooooth. Be patient :)

I have far less problems with this game (Pentium III 500 MHZ) than with some others like Quake 3 and Counterstrike

It\'s still a demo. They just have to change the way the graphics load cause I went over the wall and far away from the town. WHen you dont face the town it\'s nice and smooth, but when you face it it\'s very laggy. I talked to someone and they sayd they\'d fix it so dont worry.
