I\'ve tried all combinations of alt, shift, altgr, ctrl, etc and it\'s not working. Shift and other keys have no effect and I can\'t paste it in either.

I have an english keyboard btw.

Did you try editing the planeshift.cfg folder like suggested in the FAQ?
