Lag that makes me want to kill someone

SInce yesterday morning PS has started lagging REALLY badly. Whenever I check Task manager it says it\'s using something like 260,000-381,000  kb and even when I close everything else, my 512 mb ram still isn\'t good enough. It\'s really ticking me off.

I tried reinstalling and now it only runs at 130,000, but something is still using 100% of my cpu

Of course it uses 100% cpu. If it didn\'t, it would lag even more, wouldn\'t it?

The mem usage also looks quite normal to me.
