Trainer without skills
« on: January 03, 2005, 10:40:12 pm »
Some trainers I speak with (tavern roof for example) won\'t show me any skills for training! Is this some kind of \"will come soon\" feature, or is it a bug? The same thing with the smith, but when i opened the skill window myself and selected mining, then wrote /train, he was willing to show the skill to me...
And if it\'s a bug, what can you train at the tavern roof?

This happened to me.  It just, kinda, went away after a few minutes.
Night has come.  Will you fall to its blade?

some \'trainers\' are just NPC\'s. They just live in hydlaa. Some have trainningskills, quests or just love to have a chat with you :)

You just have to find out which NPC can help you with what. Maybe when the team will add new features, these NPC\'s will also get extra options.

Hmm.... Couldn\'t trainer appear in the right-click menu then?

Workaround to see 'missing' skills
« Reply #4 on: January 05, 2005, 02:39:38 am »
I have found sometimes (esp with Harlequin) that the skill box is empty, when i type /train. But I expected to see \'mining\'.

Someone told me ingame, that you need to scroll up to see them. Little bug, with a easy workaround. Either use the scroll mouse, or try arrow keys.
