The subject says it all. The updater should now be working again.

Mine is working :D  My solution to the \"Your updater is newer than the servers\" was.....wait.

But now my client still reads 0.3004 is that right? I thought I read its up to 05 but Im not having trouble *shrugs* just thought I\'d check.

The file, where the versionnumber is saved, is not updated yet. But it is still the same(or newer) version than you can download on hp.

I uninstalled. Went to the directory and deleted whatever files were left, except the update.txt file which was protected. And then installed and updated again. Its still the same as always, I keep getting stuck at Update.txt and the command window comes up.
Ay, I\'m getting tired of this

That\'s your problem: the updater.txt isn\'t supposed to be protected. I don\'t know where it got that from, but that\'s the reason why the updater hands on it: it can\'t replace this file.

Therefore, either remove all attributes from it (if you know how), or simply delete it.
