I really fail to see the point here - candies are the result of a pretty modern production market, personally i don\'t see the need to have them as it seems as a slight desire to have everything.
In medieval times people lived from day to day, and couldn\'t afford such laxuries such as candies (until mass factory production rose a couple of hundred years ago), maybe royality could afford this expensive hand-made laxury.
Aside from that, i think cooking skill should have non-main courses, be it cakes/cookies or the mentioned sweet rice or apple/fish with honey (ewww).
Good rpg\'s from my point of view, have a food level so it brings the need for food (since the second need, eating something with a good taste, doesn\'t really exists here, duh), having finishing courses, such as cakes or other sweet things is like an added bonus, but candies and nuchos ... hrrm ... *cough cough*.
Well i guess it\'s irrelevant to sound my protest, since PS isn\'t going to be a strict role-playing game, more like a \"roll\"-playing game.
