This is about the mac bug!

All you people say to go to the \"/usr/local\" folder, and say to go to find folder, and I search the usr folder but nothing comes up! Even with searching I cant find it! So I try everthing, making files, moving files copying files, NOTHING WORKS!

ok, this is what you do, hope it helps!

When In finder go to the \"go\" menu. Then click on the \"go to folder\" menu item and it\'ll bring up a window enter into the field this exactly!

/usr/local/

When you\'ve entered that click \"go\" and it\'ll bring up a window in this window depending on how you\'re viewing the folders (i recomend the multi column view) you\'ll see iside the folder \"local\" inside the folder \"usr\" this is normally a hidden folder so you\'d have problems if you tried to find it any other way.

Then you need to see if there\'s a folder called \"lib\" inside the folder \"local\" that\'s inside the folder \"usr\" then if the folder\'s there try drag and droping the file you need into the folder \"lib\"

If it\'s not there, you need to make a folder called \"lib\" (this stuff requires admin access.)
then put the file in the folder you just created.

You might need to change the permissions on the folder \"local\" to do this, BUT REMEMBER TO CHANGE THEM BACK!!!!!!!!!!!! also please if you don\'t know how to do permissions, just mention it on this thread and I\'ll tell you how to do that!

--All information is not garanteed, and put here so that you should be able to play planeshift I will not accept responsibility if you screw your computer up when in doubt, don\'t do it and wait until the next release when they\'ll fix this--

If you have problems in bringing the contxt menu (I\'ve seen lot\'s of mac users in the help chanel asking how to bring up the context menu) do this:

1) There\'s a ingame options menu, click it;
2) Go to \"controls\";
3) Click \"mouse\";
4) Set a new button for the \"Context Menu\" by clicking on \"Set\"

(add some images later, PS isn\'t working for me now)

Wow... Mac people are stupider than PC people.. Don\'t even know where to get the files, nor open a simple directory..

But as in PC, I sure hope that Mac has advanced people too :P

Androgos get a life, this isn\'t a normal directory, this is a core system directory, which unlike windows, where they leave all the system files sitting saying \"delete me\" on mac they hide them so that people won\'t accidentally delete the folders and files... Also by the way, how many viruses have you gotten ever, bet it ain\'t 0!

anyway, back to the important part, the file is located in a strange spot, ctrl+click on the pscliant application and click on \"show package contents\" then open the folder called \"Contents\" then the folder called \"Resources\" the file is in there!

--They should fix this whole thing soon!

You people!
This isn\'t a platform war thread!
And besides, if Androgos were to \"get a life\" then we probably wouldn\'t even have a PlaneShift. Show some respect! :P
I\'m an intelligent (:D) mac user and proud of it. ;)

Indeed, neither of these directories are simple - /usr/ is invisible (and unknown to most users) and the .app directories are also inaccessible except via a rarely used contextual menu.
