I have so far mostly enjoyed my experience with PS, I think it shows a great deal of potential, and I\'m excited to follow it\'s progression of the following months and years. Having said that, I have some questions I haven\'t seen any answers to on the board. If I haven\'t looked hard enough, I apologize for being redundant.
I repeatedly see the comment that the current status of the game is \"Alpha - tech demo\", with comments about how the real point of the whole experience right now is to work the bugs out of the server platform to improve stability / reduce crashes.
If this is the case, why are there GMs running around worrying about what anyone\'s name is? According to the General Discussion forums, all characters will be wiped soon anyways.
I can appreciate the desire to avoid rediculous names like \"IspankYou\" or somesuch crap... my point is only that it seems to me that much bigger problems exist now.
Trade doesn\'t work...dropped things cannot always be picked up...some items have no graphic at all....the battle system seems to be very incomplete....
Is there an official list anywhere of these kinds of bugs, the status of them? Is there an announcement process for changes being worked? It seems like the current process is: Find something you don\'t understand, ask an advisor, if they can\'t help, search the forums....maybe you\'ll find an answer and maybe not? (example: recenty stack limit changes)
I don\'t mean to come off like I\'m ragging on the game, or all the people who put so much hard working into developing it. Just trying to make one small point that it *appears* some of the priorities are misaligned...
Thanks for listening.
