ok on the main page it says to update... and gives an exciting description....

I tried to update and, guess what, the updater updates itself and crashes when it launches the new one.

the -auto or what ever wont work because i have ps installed on a diff partition than c:\\

You don\'t need this file, because your problem is solved by -auto. It will work regardless of where you installed PS. If you installed somewhere else you should also be able to adjust the start menu entry accordingly, or go to the appropriate location within the command window, no? I know it works because I have done so as well.

Yeah, it makes no sense what you\'re saying, death recon or whatever \"l33t\" name that is.
The target location should look like this:
\"Your HD/Your planeshift folder/updater.exe\" --auto
Don\'t forget the SPACE between \" and --auto.
