Acting like a noob and running cvs update without -S
« on: February 23, 2005, 05:42:48 pm »
I am a CVS-noob and was ploughing trough the manpage looking for an easy way to update my planeshift version.

I scanned the intro of the update section and typed cvs update ... hmm no ouput.. ok, cvs -t update ...  sending foo to server.  Ow damn!

Like a noob I didn\'t read the man carfully and forgot to give the -C option to the update. (plz be gentle,.. I am not heat-resistant)
I hope I did not cause to much mayhem or trouble.
And am really sorry if I did.

[edit] And even getting my own subject wrong... [/edit]

Some contradictions as found on h2g2.
| Act naturally | Constant change | Elementary calculus | Fuzzy logic | Holy war | Microsoft Works | Near miss | Politically correct | Random selection |

Unless you have magically gained developer access to the CVS repository it should be ok :)
