I am new to the game(kinda odvious) and i was wonder if any one can answer some questions.

1: Do we start of with \"money\" in the game? how much?
2:where is the place to buy waepons?
3 where do i fight monsters?
4:Can you make your own items?
5: how do you learn magic?
I could also use some adice, i am extreamly confused.

PS. THe server i was in got shut donw after a 30 sec warning mesage, what happened?

2. there are multiple ones, newbie weapons are at the smithing shop.

3. click the monster then go to your status window and click your attack option.

Just explroe around, ask someone to take you to the sewer and train on rats, be sure to use the defensive pose if your a newbie or your as good as dead.

They\'re updating some things in the game, just wait.

THanks, SO can any one tell me how long these updates last, and how do you go to the defensive in battle. does a special menue open or can you just set it out of battle?

3:-Your better off starting in the Sewers with Rats

Ask players ingame for some advice now and again
The server was down the Dev\'s were updatins something or other it\'s up and running now(or was 2 mins ago)

Sorry you are born into the realm with out a single tria (the currency). However fortunately for you there are rats in the sewer, you can fist fight them, then when they die right click and loot them for their eyes and pelts. You can seel them to Harnquist (The black smith) and also price weapons.

2:where is the place to buy waepons?

Yeah, Harnquist.

3 where do i fight monsters?
Various places, I would suggest starting with the rats in the sewers.

4:Can you make your own items? Hm. Well I look at my possiel skills and it would appear that \"making\" stuff is or will be possible in future.

5: how do you learn magic? There is Levarus Darenn who trains that. However you need money and Progression points before you can really train stuff. I strongly urge you to kill lots of rats - hundreds of rats - rats are be far the easiest way for a newbie to make money.

When the server goes Linkdead with no warning, it most likely crashed. In this case, it auto-reboots and will be up quicker than you can load the game again.

When the server goes Linkdead after a 30-second or other warning (such as \"GM shut the server down\"), it was taken down by an admin, most likely for updates, bugfixes, or additions. There is no set time on when it will be back, but it\'s usually within 5-10 minutes.

Well, you can get spells, by buying and combining glyphs bought from Levarus Darenn. They are pretty expensive, but mages are the only ranged combaters for now.

Where are the sewers? Is it that big hole in the building. You know, the one with the demon guy when you go in and the flame pots around it? If not where is it. If it is that hole,it always leaves me in this room and if i get out by the side, it says i died. Help

No, that\'s the death realm -

I gave directions to another person, Directions to tavern that should get you started, there is another entrance elsewhere.

I also suggest that you WALK around town, get familiar with your surroundings. Don\'t run - you might accidentally fall or something. Click on NPCs, find out what they are selling and what they train, find the exits, etc.

all i find are hard to kill gobbles, i cant find rats
also i kill it amy my exp still says 0%

Oh there are rats down there, and yes the gobbles are harder to fight. Rats are hard to find if there is a lot of folk down there hunting and looting.

HINT: you can control the type of battle you do by opening up the information window (The display with your HP, MANA, and EXP) the buttons give you types of battle sequences you can fight, like Normal, Defensive, Bloody - each have their up sides and their down sides. For instance full defensive means you are swinging, and not taking HP damage, however the creature you are fighting is also not taking damage. Please note that Creatures tend to heal faster than you. Bloody you are on full attack, no defense - thus you are taking more HP damage.

I would suggest left clicking on the target (say a rat) then clicking on one of the battle types. You can see the opponents HP at the bottom of your Information window and can click on different forms of battle during the fight sequence, going from say normal to defensive as your HP get low. After the creature dies, right click on them and loot them - not all creatures carry loot.

No EXP and no Progression points showing in your Information window is a known issue. You are getting EXP and Progression Points (PP) The Gods (Game Operator/Designers) are working on that issue.
