Sharing PlaneShift Music?

I was just curious what the policy on this was.. I would love to send some of the music from PlaneShift to my friends, maybe even draw \'em in for it
But, I don\'t want to do anything that would break company rules and such...
My question would be, can I send bits of PlaneShift music to a few friends if I include where I got it? Or will AB sue me? *pokes music industry*

Well... music falls under the \"art\" category and is subject to the art license rules. Read that. I\'m not sure whether it prohibits sharing, but I have an inkling that it does.

The planeshift music and sound effects is licensed in the same way that other art files are, under v1.0 of the PlaneShift License:

You can use them how you please provided you follow the terms of this license.

I\'m not a legal expert by any means, so take this opinion with a grain of salt - Term 2 prohibits distribution unless you have sought and obtained authority to do so from the PlaneShift team.
