i dont seem to be able to use the commands

i open up the chat menu click on tell i type (for example) /tell john hello but this dosent work help please

...Could you be more specific?

Who are you trying to /tell? Are they online when you try? Have you tried using /tell on other chat tabs (such as All)? What error message do you receive, if any?
