Ya great name \"newb archers\" Go do some research and come back when you know what you\'re talking about. I\'m sirously sick of these useless guilds. (no one even dare bring up the fes days)
I mean it. It\'s clearly stated in the rules of PS what a guild needs to do/have to be a guild. So, if you have read the rules you should know what you need, Which means you havn\'t read the rules. So, tell me again, why should somone who doesn\'t even know the rules be leading a guild.

most of the time i find out what i am supost to do on the way but to answer your question its to the brand new people who dont know the rules. its so that this guild learns the rules as we go if everybody didnt know the rules but one did then everybody would ask that one person crazy and he would leave this way nobody is better than another person until the different ranks get into play. so if you want to tell me a thing or two say it now or i wont listen at all and i know you are a higher rank than me.

Give the people a chance eh? Show em the right way maybe instead of just going off on them?

I \'m sure that if they don\'t learn and improve they \'ll be out of business soon anyway so at least let em try and learn.

No harm in trying.

It seems they want a group of people to group together and learn the game.  At least they want to learn.  Its better than those that are just guilds for the sake of being guilds with no purpose.  The name is kinda lame, and the word newb seems to conjur up negative thoughts whether it should or not.  Also the emphasis on archery seems general and not well supported.  Why the name if anyone can join?

Something different for the name might be a good idea.

There was already a newbie helpers...

Maybe:
Scholars Guild
Planeshift Scholars
Planeshift Teachers
(I\'m not too good with names)

Also, give your guild some in-game background, hierarchy (rankings, etc.), and concrete goals. Also, start working on a website (if you don\'t know how to make one, draw up an outline of what you\'d want one to be like and start typing up some of the content). If you want to see an example of a nice site, check out the link in my sig. You can also look at my personal website (last updated 10 years ago :P) for a more simple sort of design. Note that a good website with a web forum is key for a guild to be successful in the long term.

I\'m not a higher rank than you. Just because I post more or have been here longer it doesn\'t mean I\'m any better of a person than you are. Remember that. I\'m your equal until one day I become a mod or a dev or somthing... then you will all be my slaves!!! *thunder*
:)

Now what you need:
Custom ranks
Members
Role-Playing
A site
Forums
A story behind your guild
A goal
An alignment (may I reccomend evil since there is currently only 1 evil guild left)
A good guild name

And you should be set once those are done :)

Follow Efflixi\'s and other\'s advice, and create a new thread, giving it an appropriate title (the name of your guild- a decent name, please) and including all the information requested here.

Nobody is stopping you having this guild. But if you\'re going to advertise it here, you must give your thread some degree of quality.

In the case that you feel this is all too much work, then you do not need to advertise here, as you are not serious about running a guild. Just recruit those who are interested in joining you ingame.
