Yes, the setting says there is racism, one-race only guilds should be encouraged and also every race should strive to separate itself from all the others, since that has been what they\'ve always done. They simply haven\'t been able to avoid mixing due to the lack of room! In fact, the sentence about most of te population being married to a member of another race is total BS, and Yliakum has been in a state of continously smoldering hate and hidden warfare between races since the fist settlers arrived!
