Update 1.0.26(updater) screwing up on me
« on: May 19, 2005, 09:05:47 am »
OK its not severely stuffing up but its still annoying, when i go into the new updater, it seems that all the information stays where it is and other information goes over it so its got about 1500 lines on about 17 lines this is also the case with the completion percent, also when i put the mouse curser over the updater box no curser inside appears, also the check game server is permanantely stuck, is there anything i can do? btw when the updater updated itself it came up with an error message something about not being able to do something

Edit, gosh im stupid, there needs to be a thread delete button

Hi, Neitherine.  I know that must be really annoying, but it\'s still working in the background.  If you would like, you could close the updater dialog and open \"Update - Recovery Console\" which will then open a normal DOS console and continue updating.

When all is said and done with the current update, it should fix itself and look normal.

edit: And you editted your post...grand.  This is what the \"Report\" button is for.  It sounds evil, but it serves a purpose.

Yea hi

I obviously have the same problem, but I have no idea where this recovery console may be located.  Please do enlighten me

Add one space and --auto to the target of your updater shortcut.
We're not evil. We're simply amazing.
