but still i think nvidia is the best
no matter what u say

Well, this is a matter of taste, and what \"style\" you prefer. It\'s kinda stupid to say \"nVidia for life!\". This isn\'t a \"world\" where you have to stay with only one side, and \"promote\" it like hell. Nah, it\'s a world where you want to have the best option for a graphic card (depending on the level, entry, mainstream, high-end). And, in this moment, in the mainstream area, nVidia is the best, but yeah ... for high-end ATI still has the crown  ;)

well not when i had the old Voodoo

nVidia pretty much started out from the old 3DFX company, that made the Voodoo cards. Back then, it was ATi Riva TNT vs. 3DFX Voodoo 1/2/3 cards, just like it\'s Radeon vs. GeForce now. So those two just never liked eachother. :)

The only reason, the ONLY reason I have an ATI over an nVidia is that ATI are all made in their factory where as nVidia outsources a lot of their construction. I\'m a proprietary fellow.
Other than that it\'s a toss up as far as I\'m concerned.
Roll 1d2 and get something.
Sadly the shipping, including buble wrap, box and postage on a leftover from one of my machines would be more than you might pay from a wholesaler in your area so, for the sake of your pocket book look around.
Though, there might be some kind soul on here that can afford to give one to ya\'.

Dear Santa,

This Summer I would like a new graphics card too! As for a delayed Easter gift (I just can\'t imagine how the Easter Bunny could forget my gift... but know you have the chance to cover for him) I want a brand new super powerful laptop (i don\'t even like laptops... but alas they come in handy to work :/)! Ohh now that you\'re at it I would like a brand new super powerful desktop pc... wait now... make that 7 brand new PCs.. oh and an uber home cinema package! And of course for Christmas I still want the traditional new bicycle and the new GI Joe action figure with the mighty tank! :D

Yours truly,
Little Kariloy

 Actually, that\'s not right. :)

Riva TNT was made by Nvidia, and ATI wasn\'t very popular at that time, and it was merely \"in construction\". It was a fight between the two giants, 3Dfx and Nvidia. Sadly, soon after the \"coming\" of ATI, and its Radeon, things begun to change, and 3Dfx had some financial problems. Things ended up pretty strange, 3Dfx being bought by Nvidia. :)

And now, Nivida is heavily using their technologies, an example being the SLI one, which was 1st for the VooDoo 5 5500 cards. :)
