It just came suddenly to my mind yesterday.
To all those wishing for notepad: You can store notes in... shortcut slots. Dedicate one button in shortcut menu (or several of them) for notes. Right click on free slot, name it \"Notepad\" and write your notes in command area.
I did some experiments, and it seems that keeping up to 30 kB of text (roughly 500-600 lines) gives acceptable results (for me). If more data is put there, opening edit window causes game to run very slow.
Left-clicking on \"notepad\" button doesn\'t seem to break anything either (but i am not sure of it).
Notes (like all shortcut commands) are stored locally, in file data/options/shortcutcommands.xml and can be edited off-line (be carefull, don\'t break it).
