Help with connection!!

This is driving me crazy X( ...when i try to connect it  
says \'\'server dropped us for unknown reason\'\'i\'m
using the safe slow sumthin mode instead of the open
GL(cuz it freezes for some reason)and was also wondering if it has worse graphix, worse music /sound etc. ?(
