Shinito Blades - Now Recruiting
« on: August 27, 2005, 03:26:06 am »
The Shinito Blades is a guild that has a place for those \"People who can not find peace with mere words, but attains it through fighting.\" The Guild is about the pride of the warrior, and our way of life. We cannot find peace, without attaining it through battle, we are not good or evil, we merely wish to live in peace, but to do that we must fight.

-----------------------------------------------------------

We are still a small guild, we need 3 more people before I can start the guild itself, once we do that, I can find someone to make our website, and set up guild ranks, the MOTD, everything needed. Anyone who wishes to help with making a Website, /tell Mitaki in-game, give a link to the site and I will check it out, if I like it and will be able to set up the website messages and announcements, then I will make it official. For those who simply wish to join our cause, /tell Mitaki that you wish to join and I will invite you to a group with the other members until we get enough members to officially start the guild.

-----------------------------------------------------------

May the Azure Sun shine upon us in our path to peace.

Since everyone else seems to be ignoring you..

First off... just because you cannot start the guild in game does not mean that you cannot have a guild.  The best advice I can give you is to work out everything, History, Hierarchy maybe all the way up to a website before you recruit the other members unless you are not too worried about who you recruit.  Then you will have the \"right\" type of people.    And the people who want to join would know exactly what they are getting into.

This confirms it. No one reads stickies.

Check this  thread, follow the easy steps and then post your guild thread again.

Is that what you call killing people with no weapons equipt?  But then again you have been doing this since you started PS.. when you would act like a beginner so you could have a \"friendly\" duel with a newbie and then you would kill them... Im sure Sangwa doesnt care as much as I do.. just thought you might fight with honor.

That was no big deal Valbrandr. We later settled the score with a fair fight. Their leader is a formidable warrior, there\'s no denying that.

However his resolve is something to be doubtful of. He claims he doesn\'t agree with dueling to the death. Yet he chooses a Guild War as his way of showing this opinion.

I would have accepted the challenge if he had claimed it was for sport. Clashing steel with strong opponents is always an honor. There is no need to fake it with weak reasons.

Well, your missing the point. The guild does not promote fights in the plaza that are just killing people for fun, unless it is worked out with your opponent that its ok, and respects their opponent, instead of killing off newbies for fun... (sometimes I kill them because they are acting arrogant and were stupid enough to challenge me)

Right now my guild has recruited a few newbies, but you\'d be surprised at how fast they\'re learning, one has already required the higher leveled weapons and has started training, and the day I recruited him was when he first started playing. Now I\'m teaching him the guild roleplaying history, meh, all that stuff.

Its best to sometimes recruit them at an early stage of playing, so you can easily teach them the basics of the game, recruiting a person playing for a year would cause them to have to ask questions about the guild, or make certain comments when someone does something a bit off topic

Now onto the real point of why I quoted this post. Though we do not promote violence in the plaza such as PKing and that, we do allow honorable duels or challenges, and we will most of the time (when the newbies get educated) bow to our opponents after they are defeated, now the reason for the no weapon kill thing Valbrandr (did I spell your name right?) I figured he was going to melee fight me, because he had plenty of time to wield his weapons, but later I found out why...Normally we won\'t do something like that, I\'m going to make that rule more clear in the future to my members and myself.

Did I... read that correctly? Are you serious?
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

You read it correctly.  Newbies wont ask questions and if Suno does anything out of his character or the guild does anything completely against their alignment no questions will be asked... Partially it is having complete control over his guild.  He does what he wants and the others follow blindly/mindlessly.  It is the best way to do things, he told me so :D.

I can\'t see you roleplaying much. When your guild thread simply talks about a guild which fights, there is not much space for the conversations that are part of roleplaying.
I accepted the challenge thinking you were against duels to the death, but now you accuse my subordinate of reckless murder. You weren\'t clear with your accusations when you engaged us.

I see that I could have accepted a more honorable challenge, like Sir Jekkar told me. I\'ll be more conscious the next time.

Well my guild itself isn\'t too active, the active members:

Mojo: First recruited member, comes up with some new ideas and helps with recruiting from time to time

Darker: Helps with the website and new information on what to add to it

Jorol: Still beginning, needs to train

Thats about it really, but we\'re more interested in getting rules, website, and whatever else needs done...Now for the killing comment

What you mostly see is fun duels, agreed on by both sides. Because of the 50 slash weapons, its necessary to strike first...Now with the guild knights, they will run around then find a way to strike from behind, after they did that little trick I knew they had no fighting rules or honor, so I just blindlessly hit whatever guildy I could find...Now with evil guilds, I will still show honor in battle, yet not giving chance to strike because of questionable 50 slash weapons, also I will not act as friendly to the evil guilds when roleplaying...When the invintory wipe happens, then we can start getting more into character and fight better due to drawn out battles...Jimmik though, just randomly challenged people and killed them without saying anything, which is like PKing...Just pointing that out

(By the way, I defeated Jimmik in the arena temple when you were gone, he is a good fighter since he got me down to 6% health before he was defeated)

(btw you got lucky....6% .......man i had you) ^_^
Jimmik: proud Dragoon in the Dark Empire. Keeping order and breakin\' faces.

you turnend good? but your guild is neither good nor evil. and the phrase \"we just want peace and achieve that through fighting\" scares me. just because its just plain scary that anyone could think that that is logical. because i don\'t think it is.

one last thing.. if you are teaching your members your history, then please, post it here. im interested.

Ah, a new guild. Congradulations..I hope it does well..And also went..good, I see. I hope that treats you well..for however long possible.

Though the \"progress\" of your members seems to be training wise, and nothing to make them smarter, in the ways of our fair city. Also, I too am interested in rankings and the history, of this new guild.

Its like fighting with a different plot, and it has a roleplaying history...I have recruited a few newbies, but you\'d be surprised how they\'re learning, I\'ve recently recruited a few members that roleplay a lot and help newbies, so I\'m mixing a few things in with the guild purpose. And if you want a history Easton, look on the website.

http://www.freewebs.com/mitaki (yes, Darker put my name in the link, don\'t blame me, the website is still good for the information about the guild...that reminds me I need to update it :/)
