That\'s the thing, though. Roleplaying the \"assistant barkeep\" is nothing at all like actually standing behind the bar and being the only one to do so, handing out drinks to other players and interacting far more than any NPC ever could.

I also fail to see the argument of how an NPC bartender would draw players in, and have them stay around?

Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

I fell a  NPC bar person is a good idea for when it is quit and a really good idea for when bizzy a player joins in helping out, as in real life if a pub/club was to get bizzy more staff would be available , and i see no resin why this would not be hard to do , and as we are testing give it a try to see if it works if not no harm done but if it does well done Pip. :)

What do players come to the tavern for, more than anything else? Interaction. How \"interactive\" are current NPCs? Not at all. Again, how will an NPC bartender draw in players and make them stay?

All i am saying is it is better to go to tavern and see a NPC there and be able to simple talk with then than go to tavern no one there tern around and leave. It is a starting point. :)

Ah, no -- a few times, others were behind the counter of Kada-El\'s tavern.

And since Valbrandr took the job in \"The Broken Door\" in Ojaveda, and Kaile held her after-wedding party there, I\'m sure this will make it a good alternative soon.

But...

From my point of view - I am not used to a MMORPG. In fact, this is my first one ever. (Mainly bacause I did not have an internet flatrate before.) Other offline RPGs required levelling as main part at first. Taking a job, and taking it serious, would mean that you will put most of your training away. Not many citizen will be ready for that step soon after joining this game!
