Hiya,

Have you made sure that you\'ve updated both the game and your graphics card drivers, disabled sound, and made sure you do not have \"Load All Maps\" enabled? (The options for map loading and sound are in the PlaneShift setup application, same directory as the updater. If you\'re on Windows, it can also be accessed through Start -> Programs -> PlaneShift Crystal Blue -> PlaneShift Setup.)
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

getting kicked...
« Reply #3 on: October 16, 2005, 08:13:51 pm »
Hi,

I am getting kicked in a similar way, but before any option to save something.

My plattform is linux in a not really up to date distro (SuSE 9.2) that on the other hand seems to handle gpl ... nvidia 3d drivers seem ok, all current patches applied. I tired your previous hints (how do I see the graphics driver is updated?) except turnig of sound which does not look like being the problem?

I loaded the game from command line and piped the prosa into a file which I wanted to attatch, but I have no option to do that here, so be patient with me.. I\'ll post a link (pasting made the message too long)

I\'m new to planeshift, even to online gaming despite of my age (beyond 30, even 35 :) )

(URL taken away... no need any more)

Thanx,
Jabo :)
