(This will be a purely RP event based on a previous event
that can be found here. Everyone who likes to roleplay can join but chances are things will get a little rough out there;) )
Earlier today Niavard and myself met up and discussed the first expedition to asses the Ulbernaut threat, which took place several months ago after some disturbing events. It is true that there have been very little problems ever since that expedition but we still remain with many unanswerred questions. It was our opinion that a new effort should be made to find some more answers and hopefully prevent any nasty suprises in the future. This is why we decided to prepare a new expedition, this time with a much more specific goal.
As can be read in the report about the first expedition, we discovered some chaotic energies surrounding the Ulbernauts but were unable to recover any specific information regarding nature or origin of the spell. It happens that Niavard is studying Divination with which he could locate and track the original spell down,given enough time. He is also attempting to contact his master, Druke who is even more adept at this form of magic. So with their help we can probably get some questions answerred and maybe even eliminate the power behind the past Ulbernaut raids.
We are still looking for volunteers to trap and immobilize an Ulber, so it can be studied by our divination experts as well as ones to keep the area secure from any other threats until our work is done. The expedition could use trappers, warriors, mages, healers, ... as long as they are able to work together in a team and stick to the plans. We cannot use individuals who will disobey orders and endanger the entire expedition because they feel the urge to go solo. Ulbernauts are formidable foes and not many can survive an encounter with one. Since we will be heading into a known gathering point we\'ll all need to work together to make it out alive and hopefully a bit wiser.
We are also hoping to find some official support from the Octarch and her Vigesimi.
An official meeting will be planned in Kada-el\'s tavern, exactly one week from now. (starting at 8 p.m. GMT or 20:00 hours GMT) There we will discuss our course of action and round up any preparations for the expedition. We will also decide on an exact date for the expedition to commence.
It is advised that all participants are present at this meeting but for those who cannot make it we will also put a summary in our archives (this thread).
