How do I play?

I can\'t figiure out how to install and get on the game or what ever I need to do. with runescape I just click and play...this I had to dowload some client thingy and now I cant figiure out what to do next. I tried dowloading this crystal blue thing or opening it or whatever....It didnt seem to be taking. some help here?

I\'m sure that with that other game you also had to download a client and install it in order to play. Really, it\'s not that hard

Greetings! I\'m going to make another one of my giant posts :) Maybe you\'ll find something useful in it.

The Downloads section on the main PlaneShift website offers instructions for creating an account:

To play PlaneShift you have to download one of the files below depending on your platform, and then register a new account.

After filling in and submitting the registration form, you will receive an email with a link to the activation page. If there is a problem with account activation, check these two threads. When activation is complete, start the game, type your email address in the \"username\" field, type your password in \"password\" field, and click \"Login.? You will then be brought to character selection screen, and since you are new player, you will have to create a new character (simply click on the first empty slot).

Before loading the world however, make sure that you have updated both the game client and your graphics card drivers. The PlaneShift updater utility can be found in your main PS directory, and Start->Programs->Planeshift Crystal Blue->Planeshift Updater if you?re on Windows. While waiting for the updater to finish its work, I would suggest you read the Player Guide, and browse through a few stickies found in the various forum sections. Some of the most useful stickies include:
