Well I dont know, I\'ve lately started with Anarchy online, which totally rocks and is free for some time now.

But looking for RP in AO is like looking for a needle in a hive of hay ---

It has good concepts and lots of promise, but they decided to abandon it and leave it half-complete. Combat is annoying at first but you get used to the unresponsive and clunky controls after a while. However, the novelty soon fades away as you realise there\'s nothing beyond repetitive combat, crafting, and the same 4 spell effects played for every one of the 100+ spells in the game. I wish I was joking. Coupled with the fact they have, what, four servers now? And barely 100 players in the lot of them; meaning the world is barren, lifeless, and lonely.

I had fun back when I used to play... for about a week. I think you\'d need to be a die-hard levelgrinder fan to get any longer enjoyment out of it.

I want to say something defensive..   but im too lazy to think of an intelligable response.

try it..  dont just say it sucks.   its not for everyone.. but It was actually the only RPG ive ever played that felt like it had a sort soul to it.. I really appreciated it while i played.

Farewell Moogie, Farewell Draklar, Farewell Drey. you will be missed.

I\'ve been playing it for approximately three days now, and i have to admit I prefer Planeshift (when i can log in. ~_~)

For the moment, i\'m enjoying it in small doses.

My characters are

Phoenix : Grindalyx Zelenolist

Halberd : Aetharon Talmera

Give me a shout if you ever see me online. :)

Also, combat isn\'t the only way to gain levels, it\'s just the fastest.

You can also use the crafting skills to do so (if you can afford it and have the patience for it) as the DP you gain from crafting doesn\'t have to be spent on the crafting skills (since they slowly increase through use).

Forfeit the game, stop the talk show
Product of what you\'re taught to know,
Forfeit the game, cos tomorrow
when it\'s all done, you\'ll reap what you sow.
