i am not incompentent, i just have issues

i have a slow computer. i really want to play the game, and i can for a couple of minutes before the frame rate goes to 0.3 per second. i know it is because i have low RAM. i have adjusted the regular frame rate down to around 20, and turned off music. is there any other way that i can make the game less detailed perhaps? i have around 256 RAM and any suggestions are welcome, thank you.

When you\'re in the game go to the toolbar then \"options\" then \"graphics\" then \"details\" and check \"adaptive camera\". It limits how much of the scenary loads up on your computer so it doesn\'t keep lagging.

i have another question... can someone give me exact directions as to where \"west\" is? i keep asking NPC\'s where the tavern is, but they say west of the main road, which way is west, and where is the main road? i am pretty frustrated by it, i dont give up easily, but since i am used to playing runescape... i am sure you could guess. anyway, i know where what i assume to be the city center, and the library. directions from the library would probably do me the most help. thank you so much to whoever answers my questions. i hopefully will be answering the same things in a couple weeks... once i become un-noobafied. so just include directions to the main road how about? whatever you prefer.

The entire idea about playing RPG is you should not only ask NPCs but also other players. Believe me, if you ask others, many would be so kind to show you around, and you shall never need to know which way is north etc.!

Also regarding your question about graphics performance, please run planeshift setup utility, and set sampling down (sorry I forgot the actual word) to as low as possible 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/10 whatever. The graphics detail will be lowered, but the game will run smooth.

If you want more speed for your game, try toggling vertex buffer settings. The animations will stop, but game will run even more smoother.
