This game is kinda wierd.

I installed the game last night, created my character this morning. No problems so far, pretty good.

Then I played the game, it was a little slow, but I managed to tweak a few options and the game was really smooth and stable. Great.

But my concern is where on earth is everybody?? I started at the iron temple of laanx, I had no clue on where to go for the guilds or for that matter where all the other players were. The only players I saw were 2 people running away in the distance.

I couldn\'t even run, I pressed r but the avatar just kept on auto-walking, she wasn\'t running. Another, I tried to open doors but when I right-click on a door no options come up.

I\'m confused at this point, I had high hopes for this game.

Though your expectations of the game might\'ve been a bit high, there is still lots to be excited about :) Be sure to read the Player Guide, which will have many basic tips, and check the controls in your in-game Options window. Running is possible at the moment through holding the shift key and your up arrow. And remember, you can always use the in-game Help channel for any questions in the game world - an Advisor will try to help you ASAP. Also don\'t forget various stickied help files in the forums, such as the short but helpful FAQ! (Which I believe does indeed state that doors cannot be openned at the moment.)

*edit* Completely forgot! :D People! There is almost always a large group around Harnquist, by the blacksmith\'s in Hydlaa Plaza - and there is the Hydlaa (and Akkaio) tavern. Directions should be in that FAQ, but you\'re guaranteed to run into them if you explore a bit anyway.

Also remember this game is in PRE-ALPHA which means not everything is implemented.

ok im really stupid how do you register a new character i just installed the game now what?

register an account here, load the game, type in your info, sign in, create a new character.
simple.

and for Krishna, guilds don\'t have actual places to meet in game yet (though some have unofficial hangout spots). the guilds exist both in game and out of the game. each guild has a website explaining what the guild is all about. you can also talk to guild members in game (you can tell the guild they belong to by the name floating under their character name just above their heads) to ask them about the guild. that is, of course, if you\'re interested in joining.

It may seem a bit weird at first. Believe me, when I just started,  had no idea what to do. The game crashed, lagged etc. I eventually fixed the problems and now that I know how to play. It\'s a pretty cool game. Few tips. Turn off the sound in the game options t prevent lagging or crashes. The sewers is along the walls of the city. You fight rats there.
