That would be trolling.

Trols don\'t exist in planeshift.  You should know better than that. :-D

(You should also know better than to automatically label every annoying or disruptive action as out of character.)

Pretending to not understand what I mean... how funny... Yeah.

As a matter of fact I do know better (than you that is). I know that any behaviour which causes grief or in general is upsetting to a player, very often can be considered out of character. Especially offensive words, which by all means do not belong in role-playing. Those are easily replaced with non-offensive ones which by their use can indicate that it\'s in-character insult. Even replacing \"idiot\" with \"maggot-pie\" can eliminate ruining of others\' fun.
It\'s not that hard. Not following this rule (no offensive behaviour) isn\'t role-playing, it\'s being a jerk.

So that\'s what I did wrong when writing the parodies for which I was praised around here... I lacked the sense of humour xD

By the way, in case the question would be missed back then,

Hellioooos, what does UoC stand for? xD

It\'s great that praise means so much to you. *laughs*

Anyway, I\'d like to see a guild which believes that Chaos is a necessary ingredient in personal developement.  I plan on creating one myself when the time is right, but I\'d gladly join one should someone else get around to it first.

UoC stands for Union of Commerce but the info will be released when everything is done. and if you all must know the guild wont be only crafting when more updates come out.But since all there is to do right now is mine and fight the only thing we can do is stock up different ores.

Stocking up on different ores isn\'t going to help now if there is going to be an item wipe comming which I think there will be.

What you need to focus on is training - and I don\'t mean level training using npc\'s.  you need a group of people familiar with the following:

1.) How to quickly start from scratch and build a character in necessary skills.  I\'ll even personally just PL for a bit so I can get my character into a state in which he can use the ingame facilities to RP better faster. I.E.  PL for money and PP\'s, then use it to level mining. Use mining runs with guildmates to get a good stream of that stuff using the facilities provided ingame to go mine, etc... Its more fun when your character actually finds some ore.

2.) Knowledge of the leveling/training system

3.) How to RP

4.) Where different ores are located,

5.) Understanding of basic crafting concepts based on our limited knowledge of the system to be.

This is what we are focusing on - we use IGQ\'s to stimulate that behavior in guild members, as well as just suggesting, talking to our members, etc...

Basically prepare your people to know what to do once it is worth while to stock up on ore and eventually craft - that way when the time comes you\'ll be ready :)

Induane..... How\'d you get so smart? :P.

Anyways yeah, I agree with you Induane, luckily, I\'M SMART! :) No worries about right after the whipe, we\'ll survive ^^.

Also, information should be coming soon. Everything is coming together very nicely, I have no idea how! It just.. Did.. Luckily :).

CoV will survive for as long as PS is around, I\'m sure of it :). So will UoC, as soon as it gets in. Truuuusssst meeee. Heh heh heh heh... Doesn\'t that look bad for me? :)
Knowledge is infinite, but not invincible.
Now, nothing but a simple writer, waiting for tales.

I think that stocking up on ore isn\'t such a bad idea.  I have a mule dedicated to it.  He can care 4 or 5 of the four ores, and a dozen diamonds, and that\'s it.  Once any of these become useful, my supply will dissapear in an instant, despite having a character dedicated to carrying them.
