New to Game

I was wondering if anyone could give me a quick rundown on what PlaneShift is all about, what role the community (us) have in the project, and finally, what kinds of things I could do to make the game get finished faster. Oh, and one more thing, just for my own curiosity, what games are you guys playing while waiting for PlaneShift?  :D

Yeah, I already read those.   It\'s just been my experience that they get out of date fast and so I thought I\'d double check here on the forum.  Thanks though.  :P

Games I\'m playing while waiting for the game to be released: Warcraft 3, Diablo 2, EverQuest, Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, Never Winter Nights, NBA Live 2003, Madden 2002.. hmm.. there\'s probably more.
