mailinglist?

First of all a big \"hello\" to everyone!
I think the idea of planeshift and the realisation so far is really great.
But it seems that there are a lot of people waiting for the next planeshift-release (including myself, of course).
So what do you think of opening some kind of mailing list, where everyone can add his/her e-mail address and then is informed when there is something new about planeshift?

Well, I really like your idea, but it depends on the people who are making the game having time to actually put a mailing list update together. It was tried before (issue one of the PS news-letter is still available on my site), but it didn\'t really go beyond issue one

Kada is right, we got a whole one newsletter, but at least they sent it to me like 5 times to make up for that    

although it would be nice if they emailed everyone when the next release came out

I\'m sure it will be posted on the main website and posted here in the forums for people to see, so doubtless the word will spread.

Having an email registration thing would be a good idea though.  I\'ll add that to the wish list about the website, in case we ever get a good php programmer to help us out in that area. :-)

Ok by popular demand there is a mailing list now.

Go to: http://www.coollist.com/subscribe.html and enter \"planeshift\" as the name of the list you want to subscribe to.

It is not going to have a lot of activity, but I will post announcements there from time to time, so you won\'t have to check the website to know about a new release or screenshots or whatever.

Yeah, thanks a lot....that way I won\'t have to come to the boards to figure out the new release is out (not that that will be much of a problem for me...but yea )
