running town to town (verry annoing)
« on: January 18, 2006, 07:21:08 pm »
hi,
i just tried to get to oja, and so i begun to run, and run and run and run and run and run and run and run and dont know where i am and fall of a hill and die.
So now? must I run the way back or shall i run as long as i can run for the rest of my live?

I ask myself whats that. Why are there no portal stones transporting you to another town? Or horses you can rent or buy. Or magic airplanes. something like that?

Because this game is in early alpha development :P

Just follow the path - don\'t veer off towards any hills or forks, and you\'ll reach Oja in a few minutes. As the world grows, so will methods of transportation. Right now however, it\'s way too easy as is ;)
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

Although you dont have the best grammar and spelling in the world i just wanted to say pretty much the same as Karyuu and tell you, that this game is still in the Alpha testing, in Alpha testing you just run around and help out the Game, it is not for your own benifit, and things will be hard and frustrating. In beta, you will find that the game is mostly complete, and there u can spend time working for yourself, and then MAYBE you can complain about something like this, But until then just remember what Karyuu said, it is in the Alpha Stages

Now I know this is for role play but if you go down to Planeshift Roleplay Manuals and look under Yliakum there are a few creatures in there that aid our characters to move around so.... it could happen :P

Also Lan try and find a city and meet a few of the players; they can help you learn the game and possibly make it more fun.

WhiteSlayer, you are correct. The closest thing that R/S has is stuffed toy ponies. And the keep expanding their world. Hmph.

As for Oja Road, I can\'t find Oja! If I turn right, I end up at the magic shop. If I go straight, I end up in a poorly lit mine-looking-ish place.

Turn away from the magic shop, make your way through the rocks.

Oja road is not really a road...more a path.

Blah blah Mounts blah

If ojaroad is all black to you, look into this thread: Download a relighted ojaroad map here
Has helped me a lot :)

You go straight just stay on the path... then you get to a hallway and go thought it Oja/Akkiao is on the other side :)
