Help with skills
« on: February 17, 2006, 05:38:31 am »
I was wondering, if both Agility and Light Armor skills help me dodge enemies, which one is better at it. Is it best to focus on training agility? is it best to do so with Light Armor? do you get better results by leveling both and get them balanced?

Light Armor makes the bigger difference, at least it used to.  Apparently, the devs changed things so that stats have a bigger influence than they used to.

My advice is that if you want to powerlevel your character, focus training on Light Armor and your weapon class of choice.  Only worry about body stats once you have extra money and progression points.

Item begging, especially on the forums, is a no-no. Please don\'t do it - this is your second time, but a third won\'t be taken so lightly. There is only one type of armor in-game at the moment, and it doesn\'t show up on your character. It is much better to train in the Light Armor skill, which will help you dodge attacks. This is much more effective than buying the armor and putting it invisibly on your character.

It is also recommended that you try to get things yourself - a generous person may donate a weapon and a few trias, but don\'t make begging a habit unless you are going to do it In-Character and in a roleplay manner. Just tips for the future :)

Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.
