Try changing the update\'s name to old updater and run it again.  it can\'t update itself, so by changing it\'s name it will download the newer updater.

Right-click on updater.exe, and choose \"Rename\" :)
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

I don\'t think a renaming of a file will sort out the problem.

Perhaps you downloaded it wrongly: http://www.psmirror.org/psupdater/updater1100.zip

Unzip the files in your Planeshift folder, like the sticky says http://planeshift3d.com/wbboard/thread.php?threadid=22246&boardid=17

Anyway, most commonly you\'re getting an error message, perhaps claiming for a missing file. Ensure that this is not the case, if it is, please do post the exact error message that appears, this is our only input.

Are there any MoonSeekers left?

It came with an error message saying that the updater has encountered a problem and needs to be closed.
I have tried to download the files many times, i have tried restarting my computer and I have tried to install the whole thing again, but it will still not work.

It is possible to update by doing from an \"alternate\" updater, so that it doesn\'t have to worry about updating itself.  However, at this point the best thing to do is to just install the new package.  (preferably clean)  It\'s the most fool proof solution, and the easiest thing to do for someone having issues.
