Need Help Contacting the Head of Planeshift Development
« on: January 16, 2002, 11:14:21 am »
Hi, I sent an application email to the email address provided for applicants to the development team and I have not received a response yet.  I was just wondering if anyone here new another way to contact Luca Pancallo or whomever I should talk to on the development team.  Maybe an ICQ number or alternate email if someone could let me know that would be great.
Thanks

Kendaro

what division where you looking to help out in? it might have been the email was directed to the wrong party. Luca AKA Talad is very busy and has a hard time getting back and forth with all he has to do. Looking for the head of the division you are wishing to join is a better way of getting a reply.

It says that currently Luca is the head of the division I am seeking to join...the division is listed as seeking a new leader for the Background/setting leader.  This is the position I seek.

I\'ve also been trying to help out but I also get no responses to my e-mails. This could be because I have a hotmail account. Some peoples e-mails automatically delete hotmail messages. I wanted to contribute art, probably concept art, although maybe textures too.

If you could help me out, that would be great. My E-mail is mistraker@hotmail.com.

Thanks

Iol...

I have nothing against valathous but I think the moderators would have alot of training and perhaps a minimum age requirement, and would probably be very selectively chosen.

I think too many people want to come to the forum to ask to be a ps department leader or jump to some high position. They should realise that we dont just accept anyone who we feel might show promise, only after alot of time and dedication to the project can one enjoy the benefits and respect of a high position in the team.

That being said, Talad really has alot to do, such as sort out servers, tend to his day job, and manage the games progresses. We are really a free game, and as a result we cant hire 20 people just to answer emails, so you will need to wait patiently for a resonse. Were very sorry about this, and we will try to improve the situation in future.

Actualy, I don\'t really want to be in a high position, but just a contributer or member. I have applied to the 2d artist position. I just want to be able to say \"I helped\"
