And that had some relavency to this post how? I didn\'t know it was a name from Runescape, but I do know that it is a real name in some middle eastern countries. I don\'t see any problem with it.

With the issue of new characters not being able to equip certain items or do certain things, the key is training. One of the great things about Planeshift, in my opinion, is the fact that race isn\'t as much of an issue. It can help you choose a path, but does not define it for you.
If you are unable to equip a certain type of weapon, and it isn\'t one of those wierd suffixed or prefixed weapons, (e.g. Dagger of Peace, Funky Smelling Axe of the Hammer, etc...), then you can train in that skill and, from that point on, you are able to use that type of weapon. If you wish to equip a longsword and use it for combat, just find the sword trainer and train in it. Same for all the other weapons. If you want to be a weapons master and be god of all weapons, you can do that too!
My character is a dwarf as well and the only reason I use axes is because I am a bit of a roleplaying romantic. I have very little or no skill in other weapons. I just can\'t imagine myself roleplaying a dwarf with a broadsword, even though it would make my character more versatile.
