Hi all!

I'm pretty sure this is not the correct forum, but it seemed to be the most matching one.

I had a short discussion in a german PS fansite. I/We would like to have an website (maybe even an official one) where you could upload data of your char, of which is linked to the PS database. For an example check http://armory.worldofwarcraft.com/ or http://www.buffed.de/ (german).

It would be great to see my char and complain it to others, view my skills and stats and so on.

I told already in the german forum, I would like to do something like this myself, but I don't have enough time at the moment. (Until May 2008 )

If you don't think this is something to support officially: Is there a plan to give some interface to the PS database?
So an user could register on the page and just say "Yes, share my character to other players" or "View my character in public" and voilá it's there

Please move this topic to any other forum if it's really the wrong one.

only PS is about being IC, while browsing through website you are not. Thats the difference beetwen wow and PS.
WoW is about any crap which will make any person happy, without RPing at all.
PS is about roleplaying as something what is making people happy.
In reality WoW still contains some small amount of RPers and in PS there are the others and not everything is done as good as it could to support RPing better. I blame noone.
But you won't for example be able to see your char equipment by browsing a website.

Not really a good idea, a website like that will give people very OOC information about other characters, which is only useful for duelers and powerlevelers. Exactly the opposite of the type of players Planeshift wants to promote.
