My poor pet

I know this happened to many people, but I haven\'t seen  a post about it yet.

My pet, along with many others, took the form of an npc.  For mine, it became the kran named Forlorn.  Sure at first it was fun, but it is now very annoying.  I changed its name back to Firestar, but it is still in kran form.  I watched someone get their Groffel to follow them, but my kran just stood there like...a rock.  Can someone please reset my pet to its previous state for me?  I would appreciate it very much.

There\'s a bunch of reports about this on BugTracker.  It\'s not something we can just \"reset\" without just wiping them all.  However, we should figure out why this happened first.

I am just adding my voice to this thread since a similar thing happened with my pet.  Instead of a Groffel my pet takes the form of a Ylian male.  Name changing has had no effect.
