I can't quite remember when and where I found my first player-made roleplaying events.

Most probably it was on the plaza, near Harnquist's forge, listening to people talking to each other. Or in the tavern - or at the stairs to it.

Lolitra and Celorrim Purrty; Rilar Chisosah; Nilrem Driel; Zorbels and her friends ... they must have been my first experiences, half a year ago. And the more I look around, the more people I hear of, who have interesting stories to tell.

Look for a little crowd, and take your time to listen to them - it started so easy for me.

Maybe it is just me, but I think that Roleplay is what is done best in imagination after the fact. It could then be written as a story.
The game is just the skeleton of the characters life. You fill it out later.
Roleplay by text messages just seems so vacant. I know they call these MMORPG, but they would probably be better served calling them MMO -Character Development- G. Let your imagination make your character real. The you can edit out all the Spawn Camping, multiple messages as you try to get the syntax correct for quests, and AFK messages.
Otherwise it just seems too much like the 30 year old guy who had his mother make him a Firiona Vie costume to wear to the Lan Party. :woot:
