Game shutdown
« on: July 26, 2006, 10:34:40 pm »
I have read a few posts with simular but not the same prob.

This may be a combination of a few different bugs, but i dont know.

The game will either freeze or just shutdown, sometimes with a access violation message and sometimes not.
This happens at random areas, but mostly when returning from the mines. As i exit the doorway, I get the view from below, you know the floating world view.
The game locks up with major lag, one frame every 15 to 30 seconds, then shuts down.

If this link doesnt work, with my screen shots, let me know and i will post individual links.

Question?  what is the best way, or program to check out .dmp files ?

Specs:

P4 2.8 ghz hyperthread 8oo mhz fsb
win xp sp2
1 gig ddr 450 mhz ram
350 + gig HD
Ati Radean 9100 IGP (intergrated) latest drivers as of July06

There's nothing we can really use in those shots; nothing new there.  With the dump files, I need to get ahold of the symbols so I can start looking into these odd crashes.
