no applications working

I downloaded planeshift_cbv0.3.015 for mac onto my computer from filecloud. I moved it into applications. it installed. then when I tried to run the psclient it bounces for a second then it unexpectedly quits. I tried the updater and it unexpectedly quit. any application in the planeshift3d folder quits. everything quits. I would use the command line if I only knew HOW. bittorent doesn't work for me all I get is a message saying image can't be displayed when I go to the official link to bittorrent. what is going on? I have been searching for somebody who has this problem too but I still haven't found any thing and if there is somebody well I just didn't understand what they were talking about, so if this is a reoccuring problem and I'm reposting the same problem well then my appologies but I don't know what else to do,

EDIT I just downloaded it an hour ago, do I need 3.015B?

EDIT to my edit fixed it, if anybody has similar problems, try using chaos' jar updater... it works

I have the same problem with the version I downloaded from filecloud. After I installed Planeshift I discowered that the psclient was a 0.3.011 version? I'm trying to download from fragnetics now.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but: if the normal updater doesn't work, try the Java updater, available in The Guide thread. That should get you up and running.

I actually had to get the bittorrent file and updater before all this would run for me.
