I died, now what?

yea, well first of all i have no idea how to do anything. see how much of a noob i am? i walked around, clicked on a few people, something started going down, my health i guess, so i ran away. ran into a bug, clicked on it and then pressed angry, that attack him i hope?? well then i died. now im in a strange place and dont know what to do, as usual.
any help? ;D

Welcome to the Death Realm.
Best thing to do is ask someone "nicley" to help you out.
I spent over 2 hours there my first day :)

Death Realm, seems like a nice friendly place =). And also, as for the whole game, is there any walk through that helps you with the very beginning of the game? I saw that guide thing but it didnt help me much :/

There are no official "Walk through", there is the guide that comes with your download, and the getting started section here on the forums. the PS site has a lot of good info aswell.
If you ask "in character" you will find most people are willing to help you out, and guide you in the right direction.

There isn't really a story or anything set for you to do at the beginning of the game, so no.

The first time I ended up in the DR someone was nice enough to help me find the way out.  So, now when I end up visiting the DR, I pause for a few moments and look for someone who looks lost and offer to help lead them out.

It has nothing to do with story-telling. Siteri meant that there is no immediate task or path for you to explore as a sort of "introduction" to the world yet.

The main point of PlaneShift is "playing with other people around the world".

If you were only used to play single player games, and you were used to the fact that such games have a beginning and a goal to reach ... well, then you will be surprised about PlaneShift. Here, "the way is the goal", you make your own character, your own story, your own role to play in front of others who do the same. Well ... some of them at least.

the journey is more important than the destination.

Thats how I like to think of PS.
The DR is a pain when you first play, well untill someone shows you the way, well done btw, to the devs for coming up with such non-intuitive route out of DR.

i remember when we had err updates in june or july and then the new version got released i had to help out sooooo many newbies through the death realm..i remeber how scary it was my first time so i tried to help people, but yeah a walkthrough would never be able to help you through there too many twists nad turns and things that you have to actually LOOK for like that big cliff thing you gotta jump off and its all purply shinying and what not...thats really the only way io know where to jump off tee he ehee
