Prophecy of the Week

[Rudlfax]

Rudlfax enters the stage and starts, under the cheering of the Hydlaa Community, to exclaim the following:

  WE are proud to publish to the Hydlaa Community our Prophecies. WE are the Prophets of Chaos. ONLY we can help you out of misery and show you the way in these, our, troubled times. But don't be scared, the Prophets of Chaos arrived and are here with you now "

Rudlfax is seemingly enjoying all the cheering for him and his Guild Brothers, but something seems to disturb him

"Dear Sisters and Brothers of Hydlaa, we have come a long way to be here and help the building of this community, and we shall do our best to preserve the prosperity and gloriousity of this town. Its name shall become known all over Yliakum."

Rudlfax turns to his Guild Brothers and whispers shortly with them. The people surrounding them, can only hear some "You HAVE to tell them"
Rudlfax turns back to the Crowd

"Dear Sisters and Brothers of Hydlaa, on our way here, during a stormy night, we had a vision. We feel, that to build your trust, we have to let you take part in this Vision, and thus this shall become our first Prophecy: In the Name of the Great Laanx i pronounce that a part of the Crystal, which is shining to enlighten our ways in this world, will fall from the sky and hit the temple of Hydlaa in the next days. WE therefore suggest to all citizens of Hydlaa to stay calm on that exact day, and maybe even in their houses in the time between 12 am and 2 pm."

Rudlfax takes a deep breath

"Let me add a last thing, me, or one of my fellow brothers, will announce a Prophecy each week now, to help you to prepare for the Problems and Dangers life might hold here for you. Our Prophecies are currently in the  phase, and we hope to improve them soon onto a personal level for each citizen. May Laanx be with all of you"

Having said this, Rudlfax and his Guild members turn around and leave the silenced crowd.

A Week has almost passed by when Rudlfax enters again the stage at Hydlaa Central Plaza. He looks around with a broad grinning on his face, although maybe a little bit set back by the point, that there where more people around last time, though the difference almost isnt recognizable.

Rudlfax opens up his arms towards the crowd and starts his speech:

"Dear Sisters and Brothers of Hydlaa, kneel down and pray to our Lord Laanx. He, in his wisdom and righteousnees spared our city from greater harm, since the last week passed by without any accident. But beware!!! WE had one of our GuildBrothers standing watch at the temple to witness what was gonig to happen. Yesterday night at 2:12 am he clearly heard the 'pling' from the impacting projectile, and he brought with him the proof, a part of the broken roof tile the fell down from the temple right afterwards."

Rudlfax shows around the part of the roof tile, while the spectators watch in amazement.

"WE would also have presented you the part of the crystal, but it fell into the Temple, and even a massive request couldnt convince them to give out, what is a relique for them. So in case they do not use the crystal up in some kind of magical experiment, you might be able later to see it laying around somewhere in the temple, it will be hard to recognize without the blue Crystal Energy.
Well, this is our Guilds Report, we just wanted to make clear that the imminent danger to Hydlaa's population is over and that everybody can go back to his daily life. However, be aware, there always might fall down more parts of the Crystal, and Laanx might not be so friendly to warn us ahead.
