Game crashes when loading, help!

I had just taken my new character, Strogo, into the sewers, but when I tried to leave the dungeons the game crashed. Now the game will always crash when I try to log in with that character. Please help!

The error box says that planeshift has "requested runtime to end in an unusual way"

Can you login with other characters?

Don't have any other characters to try. However, I just reinstalled the game and it does the same thing. I probably just need to get the character moved.

Before moving your character, please create a new character and try to login. This is needed to verify that it is a problem with your character's location and not your client.

Ok... very weird. Even though I had uninstalled and reinstalled the client, it seems that the game still crashes (at the loading screen) when I try to log in with a *new* character. Is my account in general somehow screwed up?

I tried logging in with a completely different account (nervbird [at] yahoo [dot] ca), feel free to delete that one if you have a policy against multiple accounts, I only want to use the hurleybird [at] gmail [dot] com account), and still crashed at startup. This is really messed up, I just reinstalled the game!

Restarting my computer fixed the problem.... strange.
