Hello, I normally play PlaneShift on a machine with Windows installed (I use it to play most games). However I am going to try to compile it on one of my FreeBSD systems. The machine I am going to try to compile it on is running FreeBSD 6.1. Has anyone tried to do this? Is it known whether or not the PSclient or PSserver will compile on FreeBSD? I know FreeBSD has optional Linux and SVR4 ABI support and that most of the time FreeBSD can run programs compiled for Linux faster or as fast as a Linux machine can run them. However I would need to install a zillion GNU/Linux library files of the right version to do this and since I'm running FreeBSD and have many of the same library packages installed (just a native FreeBSD version) this would be kinda foolish. So I am going to try to compile my own for FreeBSD. Thank you in advance.
