Where is Liera Zireti

I am new, and read the quick guide, and scanned over the player guide.  I understand that Liera Zireti will buy animal parts, and that they are in the arena, to the west of the iron temple.  I thought that this is the same area that I find Harnquist the blacksmith, but I guess not.  Any tips on where to go would be appreciated.

Ask such questions best in game. There are people who will guide you there happily.

A rough hint: When you enter the arena building - in the upper left part, the mercenary ring.

The arena entrance is NEAR Harnquist.

Just so you know: hides are a distinct category separate from parts. Hides cannot be sold in Hydlaa except in the unlikely event some other player will buy them.

Is there anything useful that a newbie can do with rat hides then?  (Excepted selling to other players.)

Besides selling, animal parts don't serve any purpose at the moment.

A general suggestion: Don't loot what you don't need or can't sell, let it vanish with the body.

Other monsters (deeper in the sewers of Hydlaa) may be harder to fight, but often carry a little amount of coins.

Mmh, ok thanks for the answers.  But things aren't easy at all for newbies then.  You start with bare hands, so you can hardly fight anything else than rats, which drop lots of hides that you can't use for anything, and a few animal parts that you have to travel far to sell for quite little money.

Luckily I was given items for free by nice people.
