dl everything correctly.. got verification email <several times lol>and keep getting the acct not ver msg.. i have done all things suggested prev in the other  posts still doesnt work.. any ideas? :@#\

Just to make sure, even though you might have done this already: you have copy and pasted the verification URL into your browser and not just clicked on it? Sometimes there are two lines of it - make sure you are copying and pasting them both :]
