I swear the rain used to look better. Now it just looks like lines going down infront of the camera. No perspectave to it at all. Then again it might have always looked like this. Ill dig up some screenies...

seems i was mistaken... the rain i saw yesterday was alot thicker and bigger, possibaly to give the effect of heavier rain. but it still looked rubbish compared to the screenie above.

It turned my screen plainly white. As in completely white.

I saw some really beautiful rain the other day, but then when it rained later it was totally white, except when I got a funky angle way below my character, in which case I could catch glimpses of the ground and rocks to the side.  I was on the road between Hydlaa and the forest.  When I entered the forest it was fine.  I could also see the entrance to the forest before I got in, though everything around it was still white.  That's using an ATI Radeon X800 on Linux with the proprietary ATI-fglrx-8.28.8 drivers, if it matters.

I was impressed during the first bout of showers though.  'Twas a very welcome change.
