I think I had said something about the battle system being skill and not lvl based, like adding an arcade like fighter ability into the game with and fps and flight sim flavor aswell. but anyway its good to see people talking about it again. maybe if enough people have good ideas then the dev team will realize that the action part of the game is more important than the fishing. :P

I?ll simply write in that this in that this is a role playing game.

However there will be many choices a player must make and some player skill will be involved in combat?based on the choices made.

In Melee the goal is to allow a group of players to be able to take on a person about 5 times their ?level? so combined skill will play a factor.

As far as tactics and things of that nature?it is being worked out. But this game will have absolutely no twitch factor, it would be too taxing on the network and too grief ridden?if you have a low ping rate you would usually loose.

There are many games out there that should apply more to your tastes.
As for our goals, they are focused on providing an RPG, hopefully one that appeals to many people, but it may not have all the commercial appeal like PvP and many other things that people want.

We hope to make players accountable for their characters actions and choices, something that most commercial games ignore at the moment.

yeah, i know there are many other games out there, but the question is. how many games out there are free? and allow for such close, player to dev communication?
