Possible to change name? Met someone with the same...

Hi.. i wonder if there's a way i can change the name of my character Assadria, since someone in the game is named Hassadria. If so i would like Assyria.. or can i do it myself? can you help me??
It will be really appreciate and easier for me in game...

You can make such rename requests in-game via the petition system Assyria is a known name of a place however, so you may have to make another choice... Any alternatives you would like?

You can also wait two weeks, there's a good chance that the other person has stopped playing Planeshift by then. There are a lot of people who just try Planeshift for a short period and then leave.

Knowing Hass the way I do, I and that she's been around for 4-6 months now (normally the people that leave, have already left by then), I'd say she isn't going anywhere.  Also, Mi won't let her leave.

I was told in game today by a GM that name changes are no longer done on request.....

You are right - however, I think our GM team will understand if you want to change your name due to similarities to an already existing character.
